EXPERIENCE
I have a background in education working with the youth of Victoria. My counseling experiences include working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings to promote healing and wellness, reconcile emotional conflict, and enhance personal growth. I provided counseling to victims of domestic violence through Mid-coast Family Services, and currently provide individual and family counseling to the youth at the Victoria County Juvenile Justice Center. My services also include anger management groups for these youth. I utilize a Cognitive/Behavioral approach, including a holistic perspective to support those challenged by behavioral and emotional struggles, life transitions, and life stresses.
I specialize in treating abuse, grief and loss, self-esteem, relationship issues, depression, parenting and parent/child conflict. I have a passion for working with teens.
